A couple of years away from their first vintage and everything is looking great for the owners of Ruby Hill Vineyard in Nelson, New Zealand. On track to have their first pinot’s harvested in March 2016 they have implemented a longer growing period in order to enhance the overall quality and health of the vines.
With regards to the trellis structure, “we wanted to achieve an organic approach with good-looking and durable product”, said Brian Matheson. “To date we have been impressed with WoodShield posts. They are strong, easy to handle and being uniform in shape provide easy installation to give an excellent result”.
The picture speaks for itself with the addition of customised row markers and a well manicured vineyard.
