Murray View Organics took delivery of some WoodShield trellis posts in early 2013. Now 3 years later the fruit is being harvested off them.
Frank and Pene Porter have lived on the property just outside Swan Hill for over 50 years growing Currents, Raisins, Sultanas, Sunmuscats, Plums, Apricots, Native Limes, Broadbeans, Capsicums, Chillis, Pumpkins and many other fruits and vegetables. The Porters are organically certified with AusOrganic and the property is irrigated from the nearby Murray River.
Along with farm help and the dogs, Hancock and Amity, the fruit is all picked by hand. It then goes to the drying out racks for about 3 weeks to let nature do its thing before being packaged and sent on to the market. Check out the product at FARMHOUSE DIRECT
